Boulder City resident Art Manteris ran the sports books for Station Casinos for the past 20 years, but has a long history dating back to the early days of sport betting in Nevada. The author of “The Bookie,” Manteris tells stories of building some of the legendary books in Las Vegas and helping sports betting get legalized in the U.S. He sits down at the Skinny Bar in Boulder City to tell his amazing stories in February.
