This week, we continue our series of interviews with candidates for city council and mayor, in partnership with Boulder City Social. This week we sit down with state Senator Joe Hardy, who is retiring from the Senate and running for mayor. Hardy moved to Boulder City in 1982 and worked for 20 years as a physician at Family Doctors of Boulder City. He was elected to the state Assembly in 2003 and then to the Senate in 2010, and he served as assistant minority leader in 2019.
