Podcast With Jake Tomlin, CEO, Papillon Helicopters

We’ve all seen them coming into town. The mini-buses that are taking customers to the Boulder City airport to jump on a flight of some kind to see the wonders of the Grand Canyon region from on high. But did you know that the chief operator at the airport, Papillon Helicopters, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and is the world’s largest and longest-running helicopter tour company? Something to be proud of and we talk with Justin Tomlin, the CEO and 3rd generation of the family that launched the company, about the rich history of Papillon and the bright future. With almost 300,000 annual passengers, Papillon is a major contributor to Boulder City tourism and the expect to add to that with the new attractions currently underway in tow. Tomlin spoke with Boulder City Podcast host Roger Gros from the conference room at company headquarters in the airport terminal in November.
