Podcast with Denise Ashurst, Candidate for City Council of Boulder City

Denise Ashurst is running for the last seat on the City Council of Boulder City. She is a longtime resident of Boulder City, a veteran of the Air Force and the founder of the Pride in Purity program where she helps to guide young women through the turbulence of growing up.

Today we sit down with Denise Ashurst, a candidate for the last seat on the City Council. Ashurst is from New York and spent more than 20 years in the Air Force before settling down in Boulder City a decade ago. She ran for state Assembly in 2022, barely losing, although she carried Boulder City in a landslide. She survived the primary election in June and now faces Matt Fox in the November 5 election. But early voting will start next week so here’s your last chance to hear the views of Ashurst, who we met at the Boulder City Podcast headquarters last week.  Special thanks our videographer Billy Walker, who is available for photography and video assignments throughout Southern Nevada.
